In my opinion, this is Sunny Deol's best film. It's a very hard-hitting movie with superb drama, emotional and action. Typically the story is revenge saga like most 90s movies but a lot corruption is shown in this which is one of the reasons why screenplay in mind-blowing. Most importantly, powerful performance from Sunny Paaji who was born to play the role of Arjun Mehra. No actor could have matched his performance in terms of dialogue delivery.
He had so many good dialogues in this film but this one was memorable ''Jakh marti hai police, utaar kar phenk do yeh vardi aur pehan lo Balwant Rai ka patta apne gale mein'' ...
Ghayal has so much repeat value hence why it has the second re-runs in Indian Cinema after Sholay.

I've seen many patriotic movies in Indian Cinema but nothing beats Border. It's a very touching story about these brave Indian soldiers fighting for their country.
-- I think Border is Sunny Deol's second-best film in my opinion as I prefer Ghayal the most. Such a great script and powerful roles from Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty & Akshaye Khanna, respectively.
Not to mention, those powerful dialogues as well from Sunny Paaji e.g. ''Isse pehle ki main tujhe gaddar karaar dekar goli maar doon ... bhag ja yahan se''
Border was All Time Blockbuster and Highest Grossing of the Year in 1997.

Jeet was my childhood film growing up in the 90s era when I was four years old at that time. I recall my family renting this movie out for me because I was an action junkie.
-- I think Jeet is one of the best Action/Romance movie ever made if you combine both genres together. It's a very gripping film with a good love triangle but Sunny Deol is terrific. His eyes, voice and dialogues are fantastic. It's a known fact that Sunny Deol dominated the action genre in the 90s in which his movie did good business with single-screen audience. Jeet is a good example hence it was Super Hit at the Box Office.

This movie was delayed for years but still, it got a great response from the audiences. I think it's a mind-blowing action film may be the best father and son film I've seen.
I remember this scene where confronts Tinu Anand ''Kanoon aur insaaf taqatwar ke ghar ghulam bankar behte hai''
The chemistry between Sunny Deol and Amrish Puri is just superb and their drama scenes were realistic. Sunny gives a powerful performance in his angry young man role and terrific dialogues as well. Danny Denzongpa is such an underrated actor and I think this his best performance he's given as the villain.
Frankly, Sunny Deol deserved a Filmfare Award for Best Actor although Amrish Puri received one for Best Supporting Actor. Honestly, awards in Hindi Cinema are brought and sold.

I like Gadar a lot and I do think the story good whilst Sunny Deol's gives a powerful performance. He was superb although he overdoes in a few scenes, for example, beating all these goons all in one.
The face-off between Sunny & Amrish Puri was mind-blowing in terms of powerful dialogue exchange. Their chemistry was superb almost on a Damini level. Bahut acha dialogue hai e.g. ''Hamara Hindustan zindabad tha, zindabad hai, aur zindabad rahega''!
-- This film has one of the highest footfalls at the Box Office in which today many actors are struggling to beat. It goes to show that Sunny Paaji was huge in the mass circuits until he was at his peak.

Sunny Deol at his best in of his powerful performances.
Ziddi is a good action packed movie with a gripping story. It does have some very good twist which builds towards up with Sunny taking his revenge against the villains. There are a few flaws in this film but it's a thrilling movie to watch.

Sunny Deol started his career in romantic movies then shift into action films. This was his first action movie.
Arjun has a good story which makes this movie relevant to understand about being a youth in India. Sunny Deol is superb and suits his role.

Touching film which I believe is based on a true story that took place centuries ago. I heard it's of the most one the common tragic romance in Punjab and it's very interesting to know about it.
-- Sunny Deol was young during those times to play these roles and he acts really well. Poonam Dhillon looks very pretty, in fact, the role of Sohni suited her because she had that innocent look and expressed her body language very well.
--
The tragic ending where these two drown which was so sad.

Excellent story but this was the first time Sunny Deol & Dharmendra work together. It was a delight to see the father and son due share a screen space.
-- It has got action but also romance as well on the side with Sunny Deol & Sridevi who both looked wonderful together. It was also Juhi Chawa's debut who had a small role but she pairs up well with Karan Kapoor.

One of the best debuts I've seen in Indian Cinema. Sunny Deol became a star overnight whereas this movie launched his career with a Blockbuster. It's a very good love story and Sunny was so handsome that time.
--
His chemistry with Amrita Singh is superb and he really performances well in terms of romance and drama. There is a little bit of action as well which was good as well. Plus, the songs were very good at least two that I like in particular e.g. Jab Hum Jawab Hoge and Tumne Di Awaz.

Superb movie and certainly fun to watch. It's a typical revenge movie but the screenplay is excellent and handled very well. One thing made this film good is the cinematography which was shot in Maldives.

Vishwatma was one of my childhood movies in the 90s era. It's one of the best action movies in Indian Cinema and I've seen it many times on VHS.
-- This film is one roller coaster ride that shows Kenya where Sunny Deol & Chunky Pandey team up to capture the baddies. It's a very engaging movie especially car chase sequence in the climax. Plus, Naseer who find out who the reason culprits after underestimating Sunny and Chunky.
Everybody gave good performances including Sunny Deol, Naseeruddin Shah & Amrish Puri. Chunky Pandey is decent although his role was meant to be for Jackie Shroff who told by his astrologer not to travel outside India for a year.
Although I prefer Tridev but still this movie is filled with action, revenge and superb songs.

I think Kshatriya is a very underrated film and has great storytelling. It also has a good cast as well. You have Sunny Deol & Sanjay Dutt from the same generation (80s) with another generation Dharmendra (60s & 70s) & Vinod Khanna (70s), respectively
These four actors gave superb performances respectively. Raveena Tandon looked gorgeous and she's good as well along with Divya Bharti.
-- Action was superb especially the battle between Sunny Deol & Sanjay Dutt.

Tridev was a Blockbuster at the Box Office and it's a very good action-packed movie, in fact, it's one of my favourite films in Indian Cinema. It really keeps your mind occupied throughout this film in terms what's going to happen. There lots of twist and turnouts in films which was directed superbly.
--
The screenplay was superb and the cast is excellent but I liked Sunny Deol's performance the most. He carries this film and makes his character look believable by showing so much intensity. Jackie Shroff, Naseeruddin Shah & Amrish Puri gave good performances in their respective roles. Madhuri Dixit is good although she gets less scope in this film but her chemistry with Sunny Deol was excellent.
This film had good but my favourite is Main Teri Mohabbat Mein.

I don't think Sunny Deol's filmography is complete without this movie. There's a reason this film is memorable is because of Sunny Deol who gives a powerful performance. I mean the face-off between Sunny Deol & Amrish Puri was mind-blowing but also the court scenes as well. Those dialogues were awesome from Sunny e.g. ''Tarikh par tarikh'' and ''Jab yeh dhai kilo ka haath kisi pe padta hai na ... toh aadmi uthta nahi ... utth jata hai''
--
Technically this movie belongs to Meenakshi who does carry this film on her shoulders because she gave a terrific performance. Her body language was perfect such as her movement when she's in the mental asylum. She should have been given an award for Best Actress but Filmfare Awards are useless.
Nonetheless, Damini has a convincing story which deals with the women empowerment. It's one Rajkumar Santoshi's best works as a director.

One of the best family drama movies in Indian Cinema. It's a very touching story from the Deol's who put their heart and soul into this film. It has does have good emotional drama attached to it.
